Today at practice we had another speed workout. We started with a half mile warm up, stretching, drills then another mile warm up and a mile speed changes. Then the workout was 800x600x400x300x200x400x400x300x200x100. I was in a group with Kiley, Abigail and Dakota. Our times consisted of 2:48, 2:07, 75, 50, 33, 92, 80, 54, 30, 12. I don't know why the 600 was so slow and the second and third 400s were slow, but they were ridiculously slow. Anywase after I did a 2.5 mile cooldown to get to 8 for the day then I stretched. Tonight I will try to take a 15 minute ice bath and do my core and hamstring weights later. |
