Whew. Last run in Arcadia was a good one. Twins and I headed out from our hotel towards Santa Annita park and the high school. Hamstring was a bit tight but it went awa after mile. Stretched next to a chainlink fence bordering the golf course right across from Arcadia high, it is at this point I should add that it was 11:15pm. There was no one around and the golf course was just begging for it, thus after a hop skip and jump we were putting in miles on the green. The full moon helped but it was still too dark to see so you could tell there was a hill coming up but as to where it started was a mystery. Cue a race to the top of every hill. Never have I felt runner's high like I did that night. Upon hopping the fence again I nearly ran over a possum, and in case you were wondering they really do play dead. Poked him with a stick a couple times until he ran away into the bushes growling and probably cursing at me in whatever possum lagnuage is. Good times.
