Well I'm back. No real goals for the rest of 2016

sub 2:30 Marathon in 2017

Half Marathon PR in 2017

Long-Term Running Goals:

PR in all distances 5k and up. Run both road and trail races. Slowly build up my mileage (SLOWLY!!!!!!!) back up to 90-100 miles a week when my body is ready. Cut my weight back to 155 lbs (currently 165 lbs)

Personal:

Grew up in Colorado. Married to former Weber State runner Kayla Blackford and have a son Perrin born June 2016. Family of 2 cats and a dog in our quaint home on the Ogden Bench. Disc golf enthusist. Love camping and back packing. Snowshoeing in the winter. Love a good local beer after a long run

Did 20.5 on the Santa Fe trail. Did 3.5 mile warmup then a 3-2-1-.5-.25 (IE 3 hard, 3 easy, 2 hard, etc) 5:32 for the 3 miles, 5:19 for two, 5:15 for mile (mostly uphill), 2:30 for half, 67 for quarter. Most on rolling hills on dirt trail at about 7000'. My legs a a bit tired but feeling good about my week. 6:26 AP for the whole run.

Awesome work Dave! Not an easy one to do solo at 7000 feet. And look at that volume! Top of the mileage board. We've never had a member of the Ogden crew get the top spot! Lets see if it holds...

Wow Dave I can't imagine doing that workout by myself that takes guts and a whole lot of motivation and you did it just two days after racing hard. Very impressive.

I was just trying to focus only on the next interval. Broke up the 20 miles very well. It actually went by rather fast. Looking forward to next next Saturday with you guys. Much more fun to do 20 wit the crew rather than solo.
