Morning run, moon, temp 30'
Garmin told me my morning run that I thought was 6.1 was only 6 and the 2 mile tempo runs I've been doing the last couple of months in the morning are probably 5-10 seconds short per mile. And that means that Tom is 5-10 seconds closer to my mile times than I thought. Truth and reality are good.

Noon run, cloudy, temp 39'
My first tempo run with Garmin. I decided I'd do a 3 mile tempo run. I'm not use to using a watch to tell me how far I've gone but I did a 6:08, 6:20, & 6:14 for a 6:14 mile avg. on the tempo run. I was hoping to get closer to 6 evens.

Noon run, cloudy, windy, Temp 38'
Not much pep in the legs today. Headed south from the office and ran around the neighborhoods. I'm trying to get 40 miles for the week so I did over 8 miles, which means that I only need 10 for tomorrow. Its much harder to get 40 in when you miss a day.

| Morning run, snowy, breezy, temp. 36' Dallas had a soccer game inside the Olympic Oval at 7:30am. So I got up at 6:30 and headed north to the Oval. It was snowing the entire time with about 2-3 inches on the ground. Unfortunalty, the wind was blowing from the north so I was running into the snow. It was 6.85 miles to the Oval and then I ran a lap on the track inside the building with a fiend I saw running then watched the Soccer game. Dallas's team was well ahead so I left early and had Taunia pick me up on the way back. I got my 40 miles in for the week. I'm hoping I can get 40 per week through December. Mile Avg. - 8:06 (Slowest mile 8:43, Fastest mile 7:39)
