Morning run, no wind, temp 67'

My legs could still just feel the effects of last weekend canyon run but they were ready to go.  I can't remember my time but I'm guessing I ran about 7:30 miles

Morning run, low wind, temp 67'

I woke up tired due to lack of sleep.  I wasn't extra happy and I'm sure it effects you physically.  I was debating if I should run my tempo run today because the 1st couple of miles were really slow and I didn't feel like running fast.  I got to Bingham Highs track and ran a 3 mile tempo run.  I was pleased to crank out a 6:17 mile, 6:15 mile, and a 6:08 mile.  I then went back to my sluggish run home

After doing that good tempo run on a day I didn't feel great I couldn't help bet wonder why I could only do 6:00 even miles at the South Jordan 5K.

Morning run, low wind, temp 67'

12 hour days at work, not enough sleep, bad air quality, to much junk food, yesterdays tempo run, are all the excuses I'm using for a slow run.  The run started off bad.  I got a side ache within 50 yards of running at a snails pace.  It didn't go away for about a mile.  After about 2 miles I got a little life in me but never felt like pushing the pace.  I'm doing a mini-vacation the next couple of days.  We'll see if I can get in a little running.

Morning run on Old Bingham Hwy., some wind, Temp 70'

I went to Lagoon on Thursday and Seven Peaks on Friday.  I ate a lot of junk food.  When I woke up this morning my right foot just in from my middle toes was hurting.  Maybe to much standing and walking bare foot.

Anyway, my foot was hurting the first few miles and I was almost limping along but I didn't want to go back because I hadn't run the last couple of days.  My body must have given in because it was hurting less as I went along.  It never went away and I ran much slower than I would have.  But as of tonight it isn't hurting to bad.  Hopefully it will go away with some Sunday rest.

Time 76:20
