Morning run, Temp 60-65'

I started at 6:30AM and only had the sun on me the last 5 miles.  I wanted to run at marathon pace today and see how my legs would hold out.  They did good.  I was definatley tired when I finished and I doubt my legs would hold up for another 12 miles but we'll have to wait and see for next week.  Hopefully,  I haven't worn out my legs this week trying to get ready for the SGM.  I ran 42 miles in an average of 7:21 miles.  The prior 3 weeks I've only run 52 miles.  Not a good way to train for a marathon.  But I'm excited for the fun of the race.

I'm glad you decided to come and run the marathon. I think you're going to surprise us all, including yourself. (Of course, if I expect you to surprise me then I guess it really isn't a surprise is it.)

I hope my surprise when I finish is that you and Tom and some others have run sub 3. I also hope to see Kim come in sub 4. Then no matter what my time is I'll be glad I was there.

Terry

I called Karlene at SGM because I had not seen your name online, she confirmed that you and Kerry are in. So now taper, taper , taper, don't cram for the exam.
