6:30am - 3 miles. throat kinda hurt
3pm - 4*1600m and 2*300m. Started off by 1.5 mile warm up. I developed a cold over the weekend and my throat and lungs were burning. We started the repeats and it felt a little better. My goal was 5:16 about. The first was 5:17, pretty relaxed not too bad. The second was 5:22, a little mental lapse there. Third was a 5:17, hard but not killer. Final was a 5:14, it was a hard push, but I am feeling good mentally lately so it was good. I have made sure I bring my heart to practice everyday. The heat was getting up there, it felt like it was probably in the 80's today. After the 16's was 300's all out with full recovery. I got 42 and 42. I went to cooldown but I felt pretty crappy and only did a mile. I will take morning runs off till this cold goes away. 8 miles total.
