5pm-  Today I raced the 1600 meter first, and later the 3200.  Me and all the JV's went to warm up before the race.  We did a big loop around Canyon View and the surrounding area.  It was 2 miles.  i really wasn't very nervous for this race and i knew i could win the JV race.  The race started and i got and good position.  i felt much better than yesterday, I think because I had fueled myself much better today.  The first lap was 1:10 i think, a little slower than I wanted.  The second I was at 2:26 maybe?  i dont really remember.  I sure didn't feel as good as at BYU.  i want to feel that good in a race again.  i don't know why that race was so good.  any ways I was in third going onto the back stretch on the third lap.  I was so close to just quitting.  But instead I made a little surge and kept my pace.  I came around 3 laps in 3:44, barely on pace to break 5.  So obviously my last lap was pretty good if i got 4:52. 1:08 like always.  The cedar kid was still in first, with dhells in second, then me.  I tried to push toward the d hells kid.  but he kept going away and i passed the cedar kid right in the end and got second.  Not a bad race, it was my second fastest.

8:30pm-  The 3200.  It was my only one of the season.  my time was 11:10.  ok i guess for a first race.  i didn't really know what i was doing.  Right away Jason started to pull ahead.  I lead the chase pack for the first 5 laps.  then some cedar kids and krenny passed me.  the first half, I thought i might be going too fast.  The on 7 laps I realized I could have gone faster.  but i turned out ok and today was a good to to finish track with.  This is the end of my freshmen career.  THE END
