6am-  this morning we did a little extra than usual.  we did the normal 3 miler then 4 hill sprints and 4 100's after.

3pm-  This workout ended up great.  It was the first time I have really pushed beyond my limits and dared to go harder this season.  We had 4 30 seconders, 3 800's, and 2 1000's indian run plus 1 miler warm/cool.  It started good and i felt ready for a good day.  The 800's were harder than the 30 seconders.  Then the 1000's really tested me.  I was already tired from the 800's but felt pretty good starting out.  When we started the second 1000 my legs were absolutly dead.  When were about 600 meters in, i just couldn't handle it and i started fading, first next to matt, then back tell i was next to casey.  I was ready to give up.  but then matt and casey kept encouraging me and pushed me a bit, literally.  Then casey said, "come on nick, dare to do this."  That reminded me of coaches pep talk on friday and I sprinted back to my spot and was abel to finish strong.  It was good for me and casey both to break through mentally like that.  I hope i can be abel to find that inner push inside for the next few races, and really do good at cedar.
