8pm- Today I left with the team and went up to Provo for the BYU Invitational. We got there at about 2pm. Katie and Janzen were doing the heptathlon and Rachel, Jessica, and Mike were doing the steeplechase but Mike dropped out. So after we went and had dinner and went to the hotel in springville to get ready to go for an easy run, 3 miles and then striders. Me and matt got ready then came down to the lobby about 10 minutes later. We waited for a while and then archie came down and waited with us. We waited for like 20 minutes when matt went up to find somebody and we learned that they had already left. So we just started down a country road and after half a mile saw the other guys coming in the other direction. they said they had waited forever but thats bull because they were 15 minutes into their run. After then run me and matt did striders and I got to hear matt inspirational story about region xc last year and it was a pretty exciting story. |
