I definitely was not planning on this workout today, so I decided to start and drop out if my calf hurt. To my luck, it held up amazing!!! We did 10 x (4-2-2-4), meaning 400 on, 200 off, 200 on and 400 off. We were assigned 63's for the 400's and 29's for the 200's. This was a great workout! I stretched for a veeeery long time afterward, and got my calf massaged out. I can't believe it felt this good. I am definitely surprised. Nonetheless, I am going to keep things under control. I am not going to make any steep mileage increases or anything of that sort. I plan on running 70ish for a while. |
