Alright, this morning was a great workout. We had to be "spiked and psyched" by 6:30 am (including warm-up), so it was an early morning. After warming up, we did 8x1k repeats at 3:00 per interval. This was not too fast, but the lack of rest between intervals (1:30) made the workout a bit more difficult. I found a good window, and hit pace on almost every one (2:58 was my fastest, 3:01 was my slowest). The end had some hurt, but nothing too excessive. The pacing did not feel too fast, but the lack of rest made the workout tough. I felt really good though, so I am optimistic about the next few workouts & races! |
