Today we went to the tank for a medium long run. I hit the first 6.25 in 38 mins, and picked it up the second half to run 34:40. This was a pretty big change in tempo, but I felt good and didn't want to just sit and feel sluggish. Tommorrow we leave for Terra Haute (Pre-Nationals)!!! Saturday wil be the biggest/most competitive race I have ever ran. I am confident in my ability, though, and am going to run to my full potential. Excitement!

Good luck in Terre Haute. My parents live near there; maybe I'll tell them to look for you and take you out to dinner or something.:-)

I ran that course my freshman year at regionals. It was completely snow- and mud-covered at the time, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be fast or slow. I don't remember many hills though. Either way, it's only about 700' above sea level. You will love it.

Watch out for those crazy Utah State guys.
