| | A beautiful morning, finally. Five on the 11th-Shore loop, tried to keep an easy pace and just relax. I was stiff from not stretching much yesterday morning and working in the yard all day, but I worked out the kinks eventually. Foot was sore the first 200m or so. 37:00

| | A few easy miles to start the week. I just wanted to run for a little while, went 23:45, so probably 3 miles or so. It was nice out and I went over by Shore Drive and ran around some streets by the water, not my usual loop so I'm not sure of the distance. No foot pain, and my legs were more loose and relaxed than on Sunday. I'll go longer with a little more focus tomorrow, had to just enjoy the sunshine today (because it's not going to last). pearl izumi trail | Add Comment |
| | Cloudy morning, summer's over for this week. Out and back past Lions Park on Tracyton Beach Road (turned at the bend in the road right before the uphill to Essex). I focused on a good pace, right around 7 min/miles, then picked it up for two or so on the return just to get a little bit of a workout in. The uptempo felt good, I got into a rhythm. I was winded by the end of the run, but in a good way. The foot was a little sore to start and it hurts now though, the pain isn't bad or debilitating, but it seems to be hanging around. 58:10. supernova -- 342 | Comments(1) |
| | I traveled to Galesburg, Ill. for a wedding Thursday, fly the red eye so I was pretty out of sorts for a day. Thursday I woke up early, before it got humid or too warm, and ran the streets of Galesburg. It's a tired old Midwest railroad town, and I just wandered around these old brick streets for awhile without much thought to time or pace. I finally found a park with a nice paved trail and did a loop, then wrapped it up. I thought I would have a chance to run again in Galesburg but some other things came up and I had to help out with wedding stuff that took away that time. 43 minutes. supernova | Add Comment |
