I was a little cooked from Saturday's workout and my hamstrings asked for Sunday off. I gave it to them. This morning I ran easy on the 11th-Shore route, five miles in a bit longer than usual. I even ran the last 200m with a card table in my hand (it was on the corner with a 'Free' sign taped to it. The sign might have meant the stuff once on the table was free. But I have a new card table, and the neighbors might have learned a lesson about sign placement.) The run felt good though, by the end I was all loosened up and running free. No foot pain to speak of. 37:16.

The question is how far you would have been willing to run with the card table. 1/4 mile? 1 mile?

Sounds like you better recruit all your slug club guys to NWP team!

I was willing to run with the card table until somebody saw me. Then the embarrassment may have taken over. Luckily no one is out on my street at 6:45 a.m. except the barking dogs. They get up at 5.
