| | The winter that won't end. |
| | Ran in snow. Temp 35. Light wind. Yea! I haven't been here for awhile. Not sure how long I will stay. My running didn't stop. Just the recording. The last 2 years have not been easy. But I came out on the other side and I learned a lot along the way. I learned to look at life differently. Things I will never take for granted again: My relationship with Jesus Christ. He pulled me through and continues to walk with me and I will not be silent about all He has done in my life, and all I have been blessed with. Because of Him I will see those we have said good by to again. My running is a true gift from God and every day I can be out on the road or even the treadmill is a good day. My family. An amazing husband of 30 years, 3 awesome kids and 2 beautiful grand kids and another on the way. :) |
| | Nice sunny day. High 30ish. Where is spring? |
| | Concentrating on mileage. Ignoring pace. Right now. |
| | Temp 70. Finally. Snow is melting, culverts are open, water is flowing and rivers are rising. First 6 miles in a very, very long time. Took my time and stopped several times to soak up the day and welcome the geese back. I LOVE to watch the earth wake up! |
| | Another nice day! Supposed to cool off this week. At least most of the snow is gone. Looks like the impending flood will be a non-event like we all knew it would be. But who are we to argue with the "experts". Signed up for the Half on the 4th in Colorado Springs on July 4. Looking forward to another Colorado run. :) |
| | Treadmill. Move along, nothing to see here. |
| | Temp 50. Pushed the wind for half the run. Ugh! Things are drying up. Heading to Bismarck tomorrow for Megan's graduation. Going to get a run in after the festivities. Will be a nice change of scenery. And hills!!!! |
| | Temp 50. 5 @ easy pace 1@ 8.31 AP |
| | Temp 70. Bright sunshine. Great day for a run! |
| | Temp. 73. Beautiful evening run. Had errands to do in Fargo so I decided to run there. Nice change of scenery. Kind of turned into an impromptu tempo run. Meaning I didn't have plans to do one. Just felt good and the wind was at my back. Time 46:33 |
| | Temp was in the 60's. Got a run in before the cold front moved in. Timed it just right. Wind was switching from south to north. Was about as calm as gets in ND. |
