It was 10 degrees warmer today and the wind was minimal so out we went. It was really a pretty nice day. The track kids were also out and about. I ran 2 with the dogs but the road was not clear from last night's 3 inches that was supposed to be only be 1 inch. So I slipped and slid my way along. The dogs were really annoying today. I don't know if there is a change in the weather coming or what. They kept running ahead then back to me then around me. Bayly slid into me and almost knocked me over. So I was more than happy to be done with them. I did the last 2 on the bike path. Somebody cleared it and the sun had melted what was left so I had a clear route. Much easier running. I think I will stay on hard surfaces until things clear up. And I am not even going to try speed work until the snow and ice are gone. Which means I will have to be on the TM for speed work.

"Sandbag Central" reported they have 2.4 million bags ready to go. They are shutting down this Saturday. Now it is a wait and see. The next flood report comes out in about 10 days. So far nothing has changed from their earlier predictions.

Sounds like some crazy weather, but at least it was warmer out. Poor dogs are just probably confused: is it winter? Spring? What's going on?

Good luck with the treadmill...
