Skunk Canyon to Mesa Trail back home through Devil's Thumb.  Achilles a little sore, not bad though.

Woke up this morning to 4 inches of water in our basement.  The kids came running upstairs all excited because they could play with their Lego boats in the pools in their room!!

Our day consisted of taking down two bunk beds and carrying tons of furniture and office things upstairs and then tearing up 1,400 sq ft of wet carpet and piling it up on the driveway.  Aaron's office was the deepest spot with about 6 inches of water. Two computers and a few boxes of books and files ruined.  Thankfully we had 6 guys from our church helping us all day and friends watching our kids so we could work.  And thankfully we still have a house.  Some others in other parts of the county were not so lucky.  They are saying this a 1,000 year flood of "biblical proportions."  And its still raining.

My exercise consisted of shoveling, sweeping, and bucketing water into the bucket with the sump pump in it.  Low back is screaming.

Got a chance to get out for an hour of pool running at S. Boulder Rec center.  They are not flooded. Just about every house with a basement is though.  The water table is saturated.  More water bucketing in our basement.
