Aaron ran 20 miles early this morning and arrived home just in time to drive the kids to Abe's soccer game at 9 a.m. I ran there and met them for the final few minutes of the game. Ended up being about 6.5 miles in 45 minutes. My garmin was dead, but I had my trusty Timex. Aaron and I have been talking a lot about form and running efficiency lately. I decided to try keeping my arms more by my side rather than letting my hands cross over in front of my body as I run because I think I tend to twist my upper body too much. It felt really great to focus on not twisting so much and I think it improved my foot strike and helped me have better posture. |
