8 miles out and back on big dry creek. 7:40 ave.  Feeling Halloween-ish in my hunter orange TOU shirt.

I guess its time I start thinking about races I'd like to do in the next couple of months to give me some motivation to do speed workouts again.  As fun as it is to just do mileage every day, I really do love racing, and racing fast, so its time to look at the race calendar and set some goals.  Maybe a Thanksgiving 10K and a Halloween 5K.  I'll see what I can find.  The nice thing is that Colorado Runner Magazine has  a GREAT race calendar with all the local races, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

The Ragnar Relay Wasatch Back had orange shirts for 2 or 3 years, too, so I have about 5 bright orange shirts. Definitely won't be able to hide in the woods.

I highly recommend not running in Colorado in the winter. Come out here and run. Besides, I'm your biggest fan.

Wow, Burt! That is a bold statement! I'm flattered. I hope you know you are competing with many other people for the biggest fan title though. Here's the list: My husband (Aaron), My Mom (Alyson), My 3 kids, my track fanatic Brother-in-law (Mike), my runner Sister-in-law (Ashley), my Relief Society stalker friend (Callie), my husband's friend (the Elder's quorum president who makes fun of Aaron for not being able to beat his wife in a race...I'd like to see HIM beat Aaron's wife in a race), and three or four other women from my ward who also "claim" to be my biggest fan. I think its great! I'll take all the support I can get. :)

P.S. Burt, I think you should get an award for being "THE BIGGEST FAN" of ALL fastrunnerblog runners. I see you out there supporting everyone on the blog! Kudos!

Okay, okay. I'm your biggest fan in AZ. And Kelli is the biggest fan of FRB. Did you know that one time she mailed me cookies?
