1 hour on the elliptical

My hip felt 1.68% worse today than it did yesterday and since I am completely opposed to any digression at all in this healing process, I decided to cross train today.  Went to the gym for some ellipticarific fun and lots of stretching.

After taking the kids to the park yesterday and today, I think I have sufficiently absorbed enough Vitamin D for the week.  Now I need to find some aloe vera.  And tomorrow I will lather the sunscreen. We may touch 60 degrees tomorrow!!

ellipticarific. i like it.

when you work it really hard you can call it ellipticardiorific. and when you reeeaaallly don't feel like ellipticaling anymore you can refer to it as elliptihorrific. a well-defined workout can be elliptispecific, and on the balcony of a hotel in california it becomes elliptipacific.

You are very precise.

what exactly is your hip problem? is it psoas-related? Allie- for those medical people I would call it Status Ellipticus, which is where I would wind up if I had to be on one every day.

Allie-Women should ellipticadural to manage labor pains. Elliptiphen-phen to magically lose weight or elliptiprozac to fight depression. Sorry, Julie got me on the medically minded answers.

Julie-My hip problem started in the hamstring, then moved to the hip flexor, and has been lingering in the groin/adductor region for the longest (going on 4 weeks now). I'm starting to wonder if part of my problem just exists in my head too.
