I was going to do some tempo work today but my legs still feel pretty hashed from last week. I couldn't seem to warm up until after about 5 miles and even then I still didn't feel very good so I decided to just cut the run a little shorter and try for tempo tomorrow. Maybe I should start another session of pilates reformer. The session I was in ended last week and now I am going without that nice stretchy hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My route this morning was around Countryside and over by Standley Lake High School. Ran on the dirt paths as much as possible, probably 5 of the 7 miles. I love how every time I run by the High School in the morning I smell the powerful scent of freshly spritzed cologne. Way to schmooze the ladies, guys. |
