I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 6.5 miles on the roads around Sugar House. Longest road run in a while.
Consecutive Christmas run #44 dating back to the Carter administration.
AM: 7 mile walk
PM: 1 mile treadmill jog, weights.
AM: 4 mile walk. It was the same temperature at my mom's house in Dunedin Fl as it was in Salt Lake this morning.
PM: 3 mile walk.
AM: 8.5 miles on the treadmill plus 1 mile on the rower.
Treadmill was 7.5 miles in 60 minutes with a warm-up and cool down.
AM: Walked 4 miles around the neighborhood and to and from the dentist.
PM: Walked 6 miles around the Foothill Loop.
So a total of 10 miles walking.
AM: 7.5 windy and frigid miles in Sandy. After the run I joined the Alta wrestling team for some of their workout. That was hard!
AM: Another cold, rainy run. 8.5 miles mostly around Bingham High School in West Jordan - Bingham and Alta held a joint wrestling practice today.
