I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

11 miles. 8 on the Jeremy Ranch Road and 3 on the rocky Pony Express Trail. One of my 9th grade sprouts, Shafer Morton, ran with me the whole way. 8:30 average.

I've been working through a lot of stuff lately that, collectively, doesn't amount to much compared to what some people in this world go through. I've been trying to focus on what is essential with my family and work and reconnect with some basics. I took most of 2 weeks off of running to rest my knee and it's feeling great now. Will take tomorrow off after 24 miles in 3 days.
