I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 6.5 miles up Grandeur Peak.
AM: Easy 4 miles - pleasantly cool this morning. Visit to the dentist and maybe a gym workout this afternoon.
PM: 5.25 eliptical miles.
AM: More fun at the dentist.
PM: 9.25 eliptical mile, one mile rowing, push-ups etc.
AM: Easy 4 miles around a West Valley office park.
AM: 6 eliptical miles plus weights at the gym.
My enthusiasm for the eliptical is on the wane.
AM: 4 mile walk/jog around the neighborhood.
Late AM: 20.6 miles on the spin bike in 60 minutes. Average HR 128.
AM: Went for a hike around a volcano with the Shadley family. One mile around a high school track later.
