I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 2 mile walk. Will be out of commission for a couple days.
More rest. Some walking.
AM: 3 mile hike at Alta
AM: 6.5 miles easy with some of my boys at practice. Still a little sore but it was good to be back at it.
AM: 6 miles around Sandy and some farting arounf in the weight room with my mini-team. Lots of rope jumping.
AM: 3 mile walk around the neighborhood.
Noon: 7.5 mile treadmill run with 6 X 1/2 mile at 5kish pace. Maybe 10k.
AM: 3.25 mile walk with Andy to the Blue Plate Diner and back.
Late AM: 9.25 miles on the treadmill. 12 laps swimming. Hot tub,
