I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

PM: 5.25 miles around Liberty Park and the hipster 9th and 9th neighborhood here in SLC.
AM: 4.25 miles at practice. 52 push-ups in 1 minute.
PM: 8 miles, Elbow Fork, Pipeline. Excellent Millcreek soak after.
AM: 8.25miles at Alta Ski Area.
Sick. Had a hard time getting out of bed. Crappy day.
Another day of woe...
AM: Managed a decent 6.25 miles in Millcreek Canyon. Ran 2 miles with Andy when I got home.
Also signed up for the Wahsatch Steeplechase today. A race I've never run.
AM: Hard run with lots of climbing. Burch Hollow to the top of Mt. Aire and back.
