I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

1. 1.5 mile warm-up on the elliptical.

2. 4.5 mile run on the treadmill at 9 minute pace. Stopped when my knee started to ache a little.

3. 4.5 miles on the Helix.

PM: 5.75 miles of running on the treadmill between 8 and 8:30. 2.5 miles on other stuff...

Went to the doctor again for my knee. He decided to schedule an MRI for me next Thursday then a follow-up visit with him the following Tuesday so he can tell me about the MRI. So four approximately 15 minute visits total to the doctor (minimum!) so they can tell me what's wrong with my knee (hopefully!). Of course a $50.00 co-pay every time. What a racket!
