I'm heading out to race the 10k this morning despite only eliptickle training the past few weeks. We'll see what happens.
Not too shabby considering. It was ridiculously nice out for February and I dressed like I would for a race in July. Aerobically I felt fine but my legs were wobbly the last half of the race. I'm not a scientist but I'm guessing that cross training and walking doesn't precisely condition the running muscles as well as running does. Again, I didn't wear a watch and just ran by feel. My achilles felt good but that may change once the ibuprofin wears off.
As always at this series of races I enjoyed the conversation after.
