Typical Thursday Alta run except I held way back what with a race on Saturday. Ran the last three miles down the mountain with Abby at about 8:50 pace so hopefully my legs will appreciate that on Saturday.

What race are you running on Saturday?
Great team photo by the way.

I'm doing the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase up in Park City.

Just looked up the Jupiter Steeplechase on the Internet. Sounds like a really tough race.
I showed it to my wife. She still does not understand how people are willing to pay money to torture themselves.
Anyway, good luck with the race. Have fun and be careful.

I actually ran it last year. Have your wife read my race report from that one and her lack of understanding will increase.

Mark, races like Jupiter are the gateway drug of sorts to doing ultras. Rob is on his way.

i like the new picture, although i'll miss that head-in-your-hands pic -- it was one of the more motivating photos on this blog.
good luck at the steeplechase.

Allie, I loved that pic, too. I think I took it. Rob had no quit in him that day, no matter how bad he felt.

You did take it Jon. It'll be back in a few days.
