Finally!!!!

A decent run on this trip. In fact, probably a bucket list type run. 14 miles in Crater Lake National Park - most of it following the Rim Trail around the lake and about 3 miles with Abby. The last two miles was down the Cleetwood Cove Trail to the lake where Abby and I jumped from a 20 foot rock into the lake. That was fun.

Look at Abby's new picture to see what that was like.

Hot tubbing now at our hotel in the thriving metropolis of Burns, Oregon. Back home tomorrow.

Good job on the cliff jump!!!

Never been to Crater Lake... It looks beautiful... Can't decide if I'd rather go in winter or summer.

You would bounce off the ice in the winter.

It's a pretty easy trip and some great trails.

Abby's going to post a video of my "cliff jump" on instagram.

It doesn't freeze over in the winter. So you wouldn't bounce, but it would take a little bit longer to warm back up (I'd assume)!

Flew over that lake many times, once even dropped down in and circled the crater flying a forest service plane. But never had the chance to visit it. I'm jealous.

Abby's video on Instagram looked awesome.

Was the run epic?

Sounds pretty awesome Rob. I'll put that on our list for destinations next year. Glad to hear you had a good bucket list run this summer. I had mine this weekend also. It was much needed:)
