Thoughts on the Salazar Open Letter?

From Rob Murphy on Wed, Jun 24, 2015 at 20:40:06 from 24.10.247.181

Well, I assumed Nike had a quality lawyer or two working for them and that, given two weeks, they'd come up with something convincing.

I'm attending Jay Johnson's clinic next month in Boulder. Steve Magness and Vern Gambetta are both presenting. Unless they're testifying before congress or the USADA and have to cancel. Looking forward to the coaches social Saturday night!

To me it read like a page from the Lance playbook.

But I listen to Magness' podcast (including the one with Vern) so I feel like I know Steve - and the personal attacks on his coaching ability were particularly ad hominem.

It does appear that Salazar doesn't particularly like Magness.

I guess, in the absence of any positive tests, USADA would have to amass a mountain of personal testimony as with Armstrong? I wonder if the Gouchers or Magness have anything as compelling as Tyler Hamilton or Floyd Landis?
