8.25 miles at 7:30 pace while my young scholars were taking the AP U.S. History exam.

This is my favorite "working" day of the year - where I am literally not allowed in my classroom until noon while they administer the test. So I wander in a little late, read the paper and drink a cup of coffee in the faculty room, go to IHOP, wander around aimlessly for a while, and then run.

Going to show the wholesome, family friendly movie "We Bought A Zoo" to the five or six kids who will bother to show up for my 4th period class.

Thumbs down on the movie - Thumbs up for the easy workday!

Good luck to your students. Do you show them old war movies for the rest of the year? The Great Escape was a classic.

In case you are interested I am running my own 5k on the highland track tomorrow and then running ~10 more.

Bret - I saw it with my kids. It wasn't THAT bad.

Fritz - there are just too many running options tomorrow. I'm meeting Jeff Shadley and Jon Kotter for a longish run tomorrow. You can join us if you want to change your plans. Think we might try to meet Jake's crew for breakfast after.

Where and when will you be running? Maybe I could catch the end of the run.

Rob - What about Sergeant York? Classic...and a go to film on Test Days.
