Ouch. What kind of dog?

I imagine as a long-time runner you have had a few encounters with dogs. I've come to distrust them, particularly Shepherds, which seem to have a club going called "He who ends Jason's running career wins."

I hope you are okay.

I feel like you're calling me old Jason?

I'm all right. I had to keep shaking the blood off my left hand until it clotted a couple miles later. It was a young lab/hound mix - really cute and friendly looking until I tried to pat it as I scooted by on the single-track.

I like dogs. I also like kicking them if they bite me.
