12 miles around greater Sugar House. I was going to do more but I got tired.

Later on...Drove over to the park with Ann and walked over to Flatbread Pizza. There were thousands of people in the park on a perfect day. Went to Barnes & Noble after and read Spring Chicken by Bill Gifford on aging. Interesting. Nice chapter on seventy-year-old pole vaulters. I'm constantly torn between doing what I need to do to be a competitive runner, and what I need to do to be healthy in general as I get older. There's obviously a lot of overlap between the two but it's not a complete overlap.

Rugged workout nonetheless. No wonder, I'd be wrung out also. 6 laps?

Just 4 laps around the park Steve. Plus a lot of wandering around the neighborhoods.

Getting old is fun isn't it.

You know Mark, I actually welcome the challenge. Don't want to rush things along, but still, it's a nice physical and mental puzzle.

As they say, it's better than the alternative right?

Like playing golf and wearing polo shirts all the time? Pass on that one.. I plan to run until I drop even if that means shuffling up Emigration when I'm 90:)

I actually meant croaking, kicking be bucket, buying the farm, pushing up daisies, meeting my maker….

Sorry, I was trying to cook while reading your post.

I was joking.

I actually did laugh. Death and golf are BOTH alternatives to running. :-)

Dang. I'm glad I'm young. I still got a lot of years left until my prime.
