Nice run this morning except for I didn't eat before or have any water along the way so I was running out of gas at the end.

I had planned on 20 this morning but I found out about a local 5k tomorrow morning that I might as well run.I won the same race six years ago with an 18:30 and got one of my best trophies ever.

What race is it? It must be secret because I can't find it on the race calendars.

If I tell you are you going to show up and steal my trophy?

Oh man ... this is good stuff. I will definitely keep my eye on this conversation!!! :) :) :)

Well how big is the trophy? I feel like I should go considering that it might be the first and last race ever held on a Sunday in Utah. Even if I went it looks like you would win because you only ran 16 miles today and I ran 17.

Correction: you ran 17 (cut short by 3) and I ran 17.3.

Ha! I get the confusion now. See, I'm wrapping up a two week vacation in Minnesota where they do have Sunday races. You're not in Minnesota this weekend are you Fritz?

Also, when I crossed the finish line last Saturday in the Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon I got two tickets to redeem in the beer tent. At 7:45 in the AM!

That you won't find at a Utah race.

No way. I wouldn't go there even if the trophy was as big as my tv. Races on sunday and beer are overrated. Who would want to work the day after a race and drink beer instead of chocolate milk as a post race beverage? Rob? I hope the trophy fits in your suitcase.

Mid Mountain Marathon in Park City gives beer after their race...

But I prefer the chocolate milk like Fritz.
