Just registered for Boston 2012. If I run well there, I am going to retire from serious road racing and become a trail runner.

I think.

Still major quad soreness from my silly race Saturday night so my easy 6.25 miles tonight was pretty tough. One more good night's sleep should help though.

Lucky you:) I wanted to go but it's just out of the question budget wise. Trail running? Thats cool.. Just don't turn ultra wogger on us ok? LOL! I'll probably be burned in effigy by the ultra guys for that one..

Thanks for the reminder. I registered, but it is too far out to really know if I want to run it - so instead of missing out the last two years - I figured I might as well have a placeholder. Although they have this harsh non-deferral policy and no refunds...

Steve - it will be a tough decision. I'm having a hard time getting faster on the roads though and I think a change might be in order.

Ultra wogger? I'm personally aquainted with a few of them and they are actually SLIGHTLY less bizarre than you might expect.

Bret - Ann might give me a hard time about the expense. Can I crash on your hotel room floor?

Why wait till next year? Make the change now! And that way, you can do Boston just for fun!

Wogger?

Sure Rob - may even have a second bed in the room.
