I finally did something that could be called a workout. But I didn't like it.

Walked up to the gym.

Ran a 1.25 mile warm-up on the treadmill.

Ran 6.25 miles in 36:30

Mile cool down

Walked home

It was really humid. My clothes were soaked after the run. Reminded me of the old days back in Florida.

I think over 80 miles last week counts as a workout. Just starting to look at the Grand Canyon trails as a start to getting mentally ready.

You are not permitted to complain of humidity unless it is 98% which it literally what it has been here the last few weeks. Read where Bob Braham at FSU counts his cross country runners mileage if run in the humidity of the south as an extra 20%.

Yes indeed Bret, my thoughts are turning to Fall. Which comes in early December for you right?

Steve, I noticed Cody Draper is starting to log some real mileage. I hope he can join us. Having an experienced trail guy along is great.
