XC practice with my kids.  Easy 10k run with my varsity guys on a loop down to the pool and back.  I made them keep it easy for them and for me.  I am a hundred times better than yesterday, but my lower calves are still trashed and my other muscles are dead.  It takes a while to get moving.

I've been out of town for awhile and haven't been blogging as much. But I did read your race report at Bryce, good job that is a tough course. Last year I went out way too fast and barely had anything left to finish with. Both years I've done it, it has taken some time to recover. Are you planning any other halves? I'm signed up for Hobblecreek and looking forward to that. I really need to get going my training has been lacking a little lately. I actually think once school starts I might be able to get back on a better schedule, even though I'll have less time.
