Early morning run up 300 North in AF.  The roads were very icy and I had to take it easy, and keep an eye out for cars that kept sliding through the stop signs because they were driving too fast.  32:20

dude...did you make that running Sasha?!

From Jon on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 21:59:34

huh?

From James on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 21:59:43

No, I am not that smart. Paul did.

From josse on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:00:32

I like sleep as well.

Who are you driving down to Moab with?

From James on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:04:21

I am not sure yet. Paul, Ben, Dave, and Cody are all going and I don't know if we are all carpooling or not? I think Stacy, Allison, and Bethany are going with us. What about you? You are welcome to hitch a ride with one of us if you want.

From josse on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:05:42

Ya I do need a ride. If someone has room. Let me know.

From Jon on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:06:44

That's 8 people in 1 car!

From josse on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:08:12

I'm sure I can find a ride with someone else.

From James on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:11:12

Good thing Paul is getting a bigger car to fit that growing Petersen family!

Josse- I am sure we'll have plenty of room. Where are you staying? Wait, where am I staying? Oh yeah, I better get a hold of Dave and make sure he hasn't given Cody my spot in the cabin!

From josse on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 22:18:33

Me and my husband were going to go down but he decided not to go so I cancelled my room because it was over 300 bucks for a peice o'crap room. I was thinking of asking Marcie if she has room where she is staying. I was going to just drive myself down but I hate to drive by myself, I get tired easily. So I thought I would ask around and see if I could find a ride.

From Paul Petersen on Sat, Feb 09, 2008 at 14:54:33

I think Dave, Ben, Stacy, and I will fill up our Forester. Contrary to rumors started on this blog, we are not getting a new car for at least another 15 years, when our Forester is projected to hit 200,000 miles. My goal is to actually give it to our first-born, so hopefully it will last 17 more years. :-)

From Cody on Sat, Feb 09, 2008 at 15:20:16

James- Dude, I had a spot reserved for us in the cabin MONTHS ago. Did I somehow lose it?

Josse- It is just my wife and I driving down in our car. We could easily fit you if you still need a ride.

From josse on Sat, Feb 09, 2008 at 15:51:37

that would be great if your wife doesn't mind.

From James on Sat, Feb 09, 2008 at 16:52:25

Paul- Good luck with that. I mentioned that you would have to get a bigger car soon with all of the little Petersen kids that are on their way, and Jon starts the rumors from that.

Josse- Like I said, between all of us (me, Paul, Cody, and Logan) going down there should be plenty of room for you.

Cody- you did reserve a spot, right on the floor next to Ben! :)

Great job James. I don't know which is worse--dog attacks or car jeopardy. In any case, never a dull run! Hey did you see that I wore hot pink shorts in my last race in honor of you and your robotic Sasha? He he he.

P.S. Looks like Logan was making a pitch to debunk your "largest animal encounters" title. Check it out.
