I did a run into Brigham City and up to the mouth of Sardine and back. I wanted to see if I could make the distance of a half marathon comfortably. It was warmer today, in the upper 20s when I left. I felt okay, but was glad to get done. I was going to run with Logan but ended up tending my little boy who is kind of sick right now, so I had a small window of time that I could run.
No watch!

I am wavering with my decision to run Painter's next weekend. I have so much going on with the new job and finding a place to live. Plus, I am just not even close to race form, let alone half marathon form! I guess I will just have to see how this week goes and decide what to do when the time comes.

James, good, may see you then at the SLC Track Club series. It is darn cold out there, but, it may seem like a Hawaii vacation for you after your winter of running up north.

Stay Cool, B of BS Rools out

James, Why not just use it as a good training base. Even if your not at your peak for Painters half it would definitely make you know where your at.

Good luck on the new job and living options.

Kory- That has been my plan, because I am miles away from peak performance. The problem is, with my achilles and everything else that has been going on, I don't want it to be like TOU half was for me this year or St. George marathon was for Steve Hooper. So I will see how I feel this week and how much training I get.

Oh come on! you don't need a place to live running is so much more important. And who cares if your not in peak shape, we all love running races out of shape and chancing an injury.

I'll pray about it!:)

I like your goals too. I always try to stay in shape during the winter. But I think it is harder to get up on winter mornings. On top of that it gets dark at like 5 or 6. So you are a science teacher.... where did you go to college because I think I want to go to Utah State or SUU. What do you coach? I want to coach soccer, basketball, track, or cross country. Did your wife play soccer in college?

You still need to come down to get a little vacation time in before you start the job. Just use the half as a training run. Don't stress to much about it.
