Went to bed early last night but my nap from yesterday made it hard to sleep!
I woke up with a tight calf. I planned to only run 4 because of mileage restraints for the week. I warmed up one mile then stretched (these stretches are so hard, they make me shake from effort and want to cry). After the stretch my legs feel much better. I felt like I was holding back the whole time, probably because my body thinks "You're running 4 miles? This must be a race then!" I stretched afterward again. I felt no pain in either ankle nor anywhere else! Ave pace 7:53 128 for weight for second day in a row. Walked/ran with kids about 1/2 mile to the pinewood derby weigh in, and about 1/2 mile back. Stretched. Did ab workout and stretching. FEEL THE BURN!
