Ran at sons running practice last night at Murray Park under lights. My hands were freezing with the cold weather change. It will be a challenge getting out in the winter, but hopefully I will do better. I hate wearing tights or wind pants, I can bundle up my upper torso, but like my legs free in shorts when running. Maybe I need to adjust my attitude there

This will be Falcons last running practice, he has got basketball almost everyday, will try to get him a little running on the side if weather cooperates. December 8 for Nationals in the Midwest seems abit unreasonable - I dont know why they cant have things earlier in the year and why not at least have it in a warmer place, hopefully we will luck out with tolerable weather but we could have a blizzard with midwest winds. I realize they move it around the Nationals around the country and it depends on who bids for it. I suppose they want the high school kids to participate after their high school races
