51 degrees, should have worn a short sleeve shirt.  It was dark.  I used my new orthotics.  I suppose time will tell.  The legs felt great.  I felt slow but did not care :)

Eek! No running in the dark!

From marion on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 15:37:02

Do street lights count? No push ups. I've gotten LAZY! Ok not lazy, but over stressed and had to cut something. Darn it all- the arms got cut!! :)

From Montelepsy on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 15:41:33

Running whilst on vacation is the opposite of lazy. It's especially the opposite of all CAPS lazy.

From Metcalf Running on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 16:53:14

Marion, be careful in the dark... I hope you have some reflective vest or something. I usually wear a head light. I know I look like a dork... but it's in the dark. LOL You are not being lazy!!! Have a great vacation. Lori

OK mom and dad- I'll go buy a reflective vest. I kinda like being all dark. If I can't see the murderers, then they cant see me :) I am a stealty running machine and no one knows I am there at all. Ok- they can hear all the heavy breathing and wonder who is out there lerking in the darkness.

Hey the running on vacation was a MUST. Did you read what I eat! The list of what I did not eat would have been shorter! But you know- when in Rome- or should I say San Francisco!

I like running in the dark too. I was wearnig a dark hoodie and pair of black running pants tonight but I was at the track :-P.

As for orthodics I wear them too. Have had them for about 4 years now. Maybe about time to get a enw pair though I'm thinking.

Hey Benn- Glad to hear you like your orthotics. You might need new ones considering you youthfulness :) The ones my doctor ordered for me are supposed to have a life time warranty. For how much they cost, I hope they last FOREVER!!! ;) He said they would really help with the type of injuries I keep getting (pulled calves) Time will tell!

In a few weeks it wont be dark anymore after the time change. No more stealthy running chika! On the other hand, I probably wont get hit by a car anymore either ;)

Marion - don't even joke about getting hit by a car. I don't want what happened to my sister-in-law happen to you.

I wear a headlight, reflective belt, reflective hat with a blinking light on the back - plus usually have some clothes on with reflective spots.

From marion on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 22:45:42

I'm SORRY Maurine. That was not funny. I guess I figure if I joke/talk about it, it wont happen. Again, I am sorry- not funny!

For those of you who do not know, Maurine's sister in law was killed by being hit by a car running about 10 years ago.

From tarzan on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 23:11:43

OK - go do 25 pushups and write my talk for next Sunday and I will forgive you.

Ok- I am on the floor as soon as I post this comment. I have a stake conference talk from last year :) It got great reviews! ;) I can email it to you :D
