Well, it's time for me to log in some blogs. Woke up this morning, I was supposed to meet my running group at the Capitol for a morning run. I went downstairs to get ready. As I put my shoes on, I received a text from Jennifer asking if I have looked outside and if I still wanted to run. Sadly I replied "No" and went back to sleep.
9:00 am - still raining, so I took my kids to the Murray Rec. I swam for an hour, then ran for 30 minutes. It's just nice 3.5 easy miles. |

Disappointed that I didn't run with my group yesterday, up to the City Creek. I left work early, emailed to my friend Jennifer asking if she would be interested in running with me. Of course, she said "Yes".
I started from the Capitol, ran down the Memorial Grove, then up the City Creek. I logged in 11 miles today...yeah...very satisfy!!! |

Track workout with Coach Bill & Chirstina @ the Olympic Oval.
I knew I would be in trouble today from running 11 miles @ City Creek, a day before. We started out with a mile warm up. Then we did 4x50s, 4x200s. Very exhausted on the 4th 200s sprints. Left knee started hurting again.
Went to work, got an email from a friend asking if I could run with him 3 easy miles. I wanted to say no, but I needed to help him so I did. Not sure if it was a good idea. |

Today's workout is to survive the long run with Runamoks - Craig, Andrea, Alicia, Walter, Traci H, Tracy C, Coach Bill, Esther, Natalie, Renae, Christina, Katherine, and me. Our course is to run from the Capitol to Hoggle Zoo, ~15 miles. Jason is probably the luckiest guy because he didn't have to run, he sags. This run is supposed to be "an easy" run, but I didn't feel like it. It was like a tempo run. I have to admit that I was tired from the start, but managed to finish it with the group. I actually ran at a very good pace on the way back to the Capitol. I guess that I just wanted to finish it.
No resting at all....at 2 pm - I went Mt Biking with friends. We started at the U, through the Bonneville Shoreline, then somehow we ended around the Millcreek canyon...~14 miles. Yes...I was exhausted on some climbs. Going down the hill was worsen especially when you felt. My left injured knee now hurt even more than normal. Coach Bill will probably yell at me when he sees me Wednesday...:)
I have been training for the Spudman, Triathlon. I have been swimming & biking & plus doing all of the normal runs. Yes I am very exhausted. I can do this!!! |
