Running Accomplishments:

Started running in 2001.  Have completed over 100 marathons and ultras since then. 

Marathon PR 2:56:04 (2005 St. George)

New PR 2:53:24 (2008 Tucson)

Finished 2nd Overall in 2005 Utah Grand Slam to Paul Peterson.  He beat me by 30 min in every race.

1/2 Marathon PR 1:23:56 (2008 Just Cuz Half Marathon)

Completed the Utah Grand Slam 10 consecutive years (2003-2012).  I don't know if anyone else has done that.

Short-Term Running Goals:

2023 Goals:

Be consistent in my Riding.

Drop a few lbs.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Maybe Run again someday.....if my knee allows it!

I'm in the 55-59 Age Group.....Yikes!

It was 35 degrees with winds gusting 25-30 which made it feel much colder when I ran against it.  I ran in to Bob after running just over a mile so I ran 3 1/2 with him.  We ran on the trails above Satterfield and they were not too bad, just a few spots with crusty snow.  I finished on my own nice and easy.  Total 7.06 miles.

It was 32 degrees this morning, but the winds were cold and strong again.  I ran 8.04 easy miles a bit later since I have the day off.
