It was 13 degrees and calm this morning.  My daughter left her phone at our house last night after the Super Bowl and she needed it this morning so I ran it over to my mother-in-laws house because she will be watching Paige today.  That way Jenny could pick up her phone when she drops off the baby.

I ran the 2.5 miles to her house on E. Alameda, then ran up Monte Vista, down Booth, up Satterfield, then on my trail before looping home.  It added 1 mile and an extra hill climb, which was good after all the junk I ate last night during the game.  Total 8.11 miles.

It was 28 degrees with areas of freezing fog when I left this morning.  There were a couple of slick areas but it wasn't too bad.  I ran the fairgrounds loop and then did all of Fairway to get the rolling hill work.  I headed up Pocatello Creek Rd. and then up Satterfield.  When I was about halfway up the hill I ran in to Lowell and Suzette running down the hill.  I had already put 5.5 miles behind me and was planning around 10.  I asked them how far they were going and they said down to the hospital.  I agreed to run to the top of Monte Vista with them and then I would turn around and finish home.

When we were running on Monte Vista I thought "what the heck" and decided to just go where they went.  We headed to the hospital and then climbed Buckskin hill and ran down the back side to Parks Rd and then down Pocatello Creek.  They dropped off at Perkins to have breakfast and I ran the rest of the way home.  I ended up with 15.21 miles with some really good hill work.  I was a bit dehydrated when I got home but all-in-all a good Saturday run.
