My right hip has been having lots of issues lately so I knew I would take it really easy today.  It was in the mid 50's at start time and felt fairly comfortable most of the way.  We got headwinds along the rail trail and especially miles 11-14 coming back in to town.  I walked through the aid stations to make sure I didn't push too hard.

Teena caught up to me at mile 23 but didn't recognize me at first.  We exchanged small talk and then I asked her how her vacation was and she suddenly realized who I was.  We ran mile 23 together before she finally pulled away from me.

My left knee tightened up pretty bad in the afternoon.  Probably over-compensated for other issues.  I need to try and heal up if I want to do well in Pocatello in 2 weeks.

Marathon #84 is in the books.

Nice training run (and marathon 84, wow I just did 25!). Hope you feel good for Poky this weekend.
