It was about 45 degrees windy and raining this morning. I have the day off so I wanted a nice, slow distance run today. When I turned South on Hawthorne I had the wind in my face and a steady rain. Knowing that I was going to be going this direction for the next 8.5 miles did not really excite me. When I made the turn at Indian Hills it started to clear-up and I started getting too hot because I was dressed for wind and rain. I got to spend the next hour and a half sweating like crazy and now the wind was behind me so it did not cool me off much. I ran 23.16 miles in a nice, easy pace and feel really good but glad the uncomfortableness is over.
