It was 33 degrees, windy, and some light snow blowing around this morning. I ran 5.13 miles with a couple of pick-ups.

Are you tapering for a race?

I was wondering if anyone would notice.... I am sneaking in an extra marathon before I run Salt Lake on the 18th.

I am running the Moab marathon this Saturday. It is a really small race that I could potentially win as long as none of you fast guys show up :)

Unfortunately, it looks like I will be running in 30-degree temps in a mix of rain/snow Saturday......so a PR may not be in the cards.

Good luck in Moab, you sneaky dude! Wow, lots of running/racing in a short turnaround but your mileage base should help you out. Travel safely and have fun in the cold! If you go for the win do you think it will adversely affect your goals for SLC?

I was thinking of Strider's this weekend but the weather, domestic activities and travel next week are keeping me home for a last hard training run.

Bill, I hope you win. You deserve it with the training you've done. Right now you could beat me upside down and around. But I don't care. I've never cared about the competition side. I thank God just to run to stay in shape.
